Mind-Blowing Vintage Blast Pre Workout Review: 2 Stages?
Vintage Blast is quite a new yet popular pre-workout supplement by Oldschool Labs. It's said to work differently than other products because of its unique two-stage approach.
This product's two-stage approach is said to deliver a steady source of power to fuel long-lasting and intense workouts.
We've recently taken a look at Vintage Burn, their fat-burning supplement, and excited to try out this pre-workout.
Will it be strong enough to carry us through an intensive training session?
Only one way to find out, let's go!

Before we dive into our experience with this pre-workout, let's go over some general information about this product.
As we've mentioned, Oldschool Labs formulated this product to work by going through two phases. They've chosen this approach because, according to them, it delivers smoother and more reliable results.

What they mean by this is that you'll be getting a solid product to rely on during prolonged and intensive workouts.
I get what they're trying to point out because many high stimulant pre-workouts cause a massive rush in energy, followed by a rapid decline in effects.
To further understand this whole two-step stage idea, we need to dive deeper into Vintage Blast's nutritional facts. By learning more about the product formula, we'll quickly learn more if it's genuinely effective.
And that's exactly what we're going to do – but before we move onto the ingredients, we're going to share our experience.
Our Experience With Vintage Blast
We don't share our review if we haven't tried a product for at least 2 to 3 training sessions. Of course, that's what we've done with Oldschool Labs's Vintage Blast pre-workout.
Now, moving onto our experience with this supplement. I want to start by saying that we have a relatively high tolerance for pre-workouts, so you might experience this product differently than we did.
We've taken the one scoop serving before our training, and after about 20 minutes, we started to experience mild effects.
1. Energy
The energy provided by Vintage Blast is alright, and it was just enough to get us going. It might have provided a slightly longer form of energy, but we're not quite sure.
It contains a moderate amount of caffeine, which is only the one ingredient in this formula that boosts energy levels.
The tingles weren't present since there is only about 1000mg of Beta-Alanine in one scoop of Vintage blast.
If you've never taken a pre-workout supplement before, you might experience a more significant energy rush.
2. Pumps
Moving onto the pumps – We experienced the pumps to be pretty good. There are 5 grams of L-Citrulline Malate and 1 gram of L-Arginine in one serving, which helps improve nitric oxide and pumps.
You'll definitely get a solid pump with Vintage Blast, as those two key ingredients are great for shuttling more blood and oxygen to the muscles.
You can also combine it with an intra workout supplement or nitric oxide booster to further enhance your pumps.
3. Focus
Unfortunately, when it comes to focusing, there was no change in our cognitive functions.
We didn't experience any improvements at all, but there aren't really any nootropic ingredients in this formula either except for L-Tyrosine; we found it's more aimed at endurance, power, and energy.
If you want a pre-workout that also optimizes your focus, consider checking out some of the other alternatives on the market.
4. Remarks
When we look at the ingredients, we didn't expect much from it since it's quite a mild product, in our opinion. I think that this is more of a beginner pre, as we as advanced users didn't notice much.
But as we've mentioned, we've tried dozens of different pre-workout supplements, including the high stim ones. Our tolerance is a lot higher than most people, so you might end up feeling this product a lot better.
We'd give the entire experience with Vintage Blast a 6.5 out of 10. Not bad, but nothing special either. Please keep in mind that this is SupplementsReviewer's team's personal experience and opinion.
Vintage Blast Pre-Workout Ingredients
The first thing we noticed is that the Vintage Blast label is completely transparent, so that's always a good sign.
Let's take a closer look at the ingredients in this pre-workout. The majority of Vintage Blast's formula is broken down into two stages:
Stage 1 Group: Start Strong
- L-Citrulline Malate – 5000mg
- Beta-Alanine – 1000mg
- L-Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate – 1000mg
- L-Carnitine Tartrate – 250mg
- Caffeine Anhydrous – 150mg
Stage 2 Group: Finish Strong
- D-Aspartic Acid – 2000mg
- N-Acetyl-L-Tyrosine – 250mg
- Microencapsulated Caffeine – 100mg
Besides the ingredients mentioned above, you'll also find some electrolytes, B-vitamins, Vitamin C, and Niacin.

What we enjoyed most about Vintage Blast was the muscle pumps, which are a benefit of the L-Citrulline Malate and L-Arginine.
If you compare the total ingredients and dosages added, you will see that Vintage Blast is quite weak.
They've added some basic ingredients like Caffeine, L-Citrulline, and Beta-Alanine. Which are great ingredients, but they are all on the low end in terms of dosage.
We are just missing some ingredients that would be very low on costs but would be very beneficial, like creatine or betaine anhydrous.
They also added D-Aspartic Acid(DAA), which is often found in testosterone boosters because studies showed positive effects on testosterone levels.
However, DAA hasn't been proven to increase strength or power, so not quite sure why they added this one.
The 2-way stage is a cool idea, but not really properly executed if you ask me. They could at least add more stimulants to the ‘Start Strong' phase.
Conclusion
After reviewing it thoroughly, we concluded that Vintage Blast is an average pre-workout with minimal effects.
The effects we experienced can be backed up by the number of ingredients they added. They clearly need to either up the dosage or include more compounds.
You would think that it would be cheap, but a tub costs $39,99 and get's you only 20 servings, which comes down to $2 per scoop.
Vintage Blast is one of the most expensive pre-workouts, but with limited effects, dosages and ingredients added.
We wouldn't recommend using Vintage Blast as your pre-workout. If you're looking for something that will give you energy, pumps, and power, we would recommend taking a look at Wrecked.
Keep in mind that this is our opinion, and effects may vary.
