Pre JYM Pre Workout Review: Worth The Money?

First and foremost, let's look at the ingredients found in the Pre JYM pre workout.

Moving on to the ingredients panel. Let's start with the serving size – 26 grams per scoop. Please note that each scoop is 80 calories, which is relatively high as most other pre-workouts are zero calories.
So, it's got a massive serving size for a pre, but that doesn't mean its effective.
We need to see the ingredients and dosages to find out if it's any good for boosting your workouts.
My first look on the ingredient list is the Jym pre-workout contains the key elements you should look for.
Here's what I like about this formula:
- You see what you get, no hidden ingredients or proprietary blends. We like it when products don't have anything to hide when it comes to product formulation.
- It has Citrulline Malate at 6 grams, an excellent ingredient for boosting performance and pumps, plus it's the scientifically backed dosage for optimal results (1).
- It contains 6 grams of Branched-chain amino acids, which have been proven to accelerate muscle recovery (2).
- You will find several cognitive function enhancers such as L-Tyrosine, Alpha GPC, and Choline Bitartrate in this pre-workout (3).
Here's what I don't like about this formula:
- There are only 2 grams of Beta-Alanine in this supplement, which is a low dosage as clinical studies typically use a minimum of 2.4 grams, upwards to 4.8 grams (4).
- Pre Jym contains creatine, which increases water retention causing slight bloat (5).
- There is only 500mg of Beet Root Extract per serving (6). This could be insufficient to reap the nitric oxide (pump) benefits.

Pre Jym Effectiveness And Benefits
We've tested JYM several times, and it delivered consistent results. We mainly noticed a significant increase in energy and some focus.
The 300mg of caffeine per serving is what gets you going. It's a relatively large amount of caffeine, so make sure you skip out on other caffeine sources.
The focus helps you get in the zone so you can squeeze out those few extra reps here and there. We didn't really notice a good pump while on this product.
When it comes to effectiveness, we give this supplement a 7/10. It's good for energy, focus, but we found pumps to be lacking.
How To Take Pre Jym
Taking pre jym is simple and straightforward. You have to mix one leveled scoop in 400 to 1000ml of water and drink it roughly 30 minutes before starting your workout.
Flavor And Price
The pre jym pre workout is available in many different flavors. We bought ourselves a bottle of the Cherry limeade, which consists of natural and artificial flavors.
When you have many different ingredients, it becomes difficult to mask the flavor. When you take that into consideration, the taste wasn't that bad.
We don't drink pre-workout supplement for the flavor; it has to affect your workout performance positively.
Moving on to the price – Pre Jym is an expensive product. It's $40 per bottle of 20 servings, coming down to $2 per serving.
That's a high price per serving compared to many other pre-workouts. I'm not sure if it's worth it, but you are getting a good product in return.
Should You Try The Pre Jym Pre Workout?
In our opinion, Pre JYM is better formulated than most other pre workout supplements out there. It's got all the staple ingredients and even packs some BCAA's in there as well.
But, in our opinion, there are a few ingredients that are underdosed. It also contains creatine, which causes water retention.
You can definitely go ahead and give it a try, but keep in mind, it's relatively expensive at $40 per 20 servings.
Our favorite pre-workout is Wrecked, which contains nearly 20 ingredients, plus it's cheaper. We highly recommend checking it out as it's insane for enhancing workout performance.
The Bottom Line
We've tested the Pre Jym pre workout and think it's a pretty stacked product. The ingredients look solid, and it contains crucial components to help you get a good workout in.
It does deliver results, but we believe it can be improved here and there. You'll mainly notice a smooth energy rush combined with an increased focus – the pumps weren't that good.
The price is steep, but you will be getting a stacked product in return.
