Insane Labz I Am God Pre Workout Review: Worth The Money?

We've reviewed a couple of Insane Labz pre-workouts in the past. Both Psychotic and Insane Veinz are supplements that are mild in stimulants but nonetheless popular.

Today we will review their ‘high stim' variant called I am God. They claim that it's one of the strongest pre-workouts ever created.

We got a bunch of requests from readers to review I am God, so here it is!

In this review, we will explain to you how this supplement works and we answer the question: Is it worth the money?

What is I Am God?

Contents

I am God is a pre-workout supplement designed by the supplement company called Insane Labz.

It's a high stimulant pre-workout which could help with stamina, energy, strength to push you through your workout in the gym.

The creators claim that I am God is one of the strongest pre-workouts on the market.

Let's find out if that is really the case…

Other popular high stimulant pre-workouts are Wrecked, Amped AF, and Dark Energy.

Insane Labs I Am God Pre Workout Review

Let's first get the basic information about this product to find out what we're working with.

– One tub has 25 servings, with a total net weight of 296 grams
– One scoop contains 11.8 grams of powder
– The price is USD 59,95 and comes down to $2,40 per scoop
– The product comes in 4 different flavors

On their product page, they make some notable, big claims on what this product can do.

They claim, for example, that this product will increase your stamina, endurance, and strength.

Ingredients and Formula

To check if this pre-workout really is one of the strongest pre-workouts, we need to take a look at the ingredient label.

The first thing we noticed is that they are using a blend to hide the total amount added per ingredient.

As you might already know, we're not a fan of proprietary blends because we want to know what we put in our bodies.

The only thing we can see is the ingredients added, so let's take a look at what ingredients are added.

I Am God ingredients and formula
I Am God ingredients and formula

The I Am God formula contains the following ingredients:

  • Vitamin C – 200mg
  • Sodium – 100mg
  • Potassium – 100mg
  • Creatine Monohydrate – Unknown
  • Beta-Alanine – Unknown
  • L-Taurine – Unknown
  • L-Tyrosine – Unknown
  • Caffeine Citrate – Unknown
  • Caffeine Anhydrous – Unknown
  • Betaine Anhydrous – Unknown
  • DMAE – Unknown
  • AMPiberry – Unknown
  • Alpha Yohimbine – Unknown

They included creatine and betaine anhydrous for the strength gains, which are very common but effective.

The stimulants they added are caffeine citrate/anhydrous alpha yohimbine. The total caffeine added to this pre-workout is 400mg, which is mentioned on the product page. 400mg of caffeine is considered the highest and safe dose by the FDA.

It's definitely advised to take 1/2 a scoop the first time you use I am God.

Especially when you combine it with yohimbine, which is another potent stimulant. I couldn't find the total of yohimbine added, but it's probably between 1-5mg.

The thing we miss in the formula are NO-boosters like L-Citrulline for blood flow and muscle pumps.

Again, it's really hard to tell you if it's a good formula without the exact numbers. However, they added some pretty good ingredients in it.

The only thing they added for focus is DMAE, which has limited research supporting the claims of mental focus.

We don't like the fact that it contains a high amount of caffeine and also misses nitric oxide boosters. However, I am sure you will feel a boost in energy and power.

Our Opinion On I Am God

After testing, I Am God several times. We concluded that it's not our most favorite pre-workout in terms of energy and pumps.

The first time we took a scoop, it gave us a good amount of energy and strength. However, almost all scoops after that were not on the same level.

I have to note that we are used to consuming a high amount of caffeine, which could be the issue over here.

When consuming caffeine every day, your body will create a caffeine tolerance

However, we did not notice any of the pump effects we usually experience with pre-workouts.

We think that they are missing some key ingredients like L-Citrulline and Agmatine. We would therefore recommend taking a look at Wrecked, which is also a high stimulant pre-workout with way more effective ingredients added.

The Bottom Line

I Am God is said to be a powerful pre-workout. After reviewing it multiple times, we concluded that this isn't the case, and we were a little bit disappointed.

Nonetheless, the formula looks ok but could be improved by added some NO-Boosters.

We think this pre-workout is perfect if you're looking for that extra boost in energy; however, there are better options out there.

One last thing to mention is that the price of 1 scoop is $2,40, which is probably one of the highest we've seen so far.

So, is it worth the money?

We take into consideration that it's sold at $59,95, which gets you 25 servings with 11,8 grams per scoop.

In that case, it's not worth paying that amount when there are better products out there which are cheaper as well.

However, this is obviously our opinion, and you are free to make your own.
