Dark Energy Pre Workout is a new supplement product from a company called Magnitude Life Sciences.

Dark Energy quickly caught our attention when we noticed the ingredients, which include potent DMHA and DMAA.

Read on as we give you a comprehensive review of the Dark Energy Pre-Workout, including the ingredients, effects, and benefits.

The best part is that I literally tried this myself, so I’ll be giving you a non-biased, no-holds-barred review based on my experience.

For about a year now, I’ve been tracking the popularity and growth of this unique pre-workout called Dark Energy by Magnitude Life Sciences.

Based on reviews, there’s no denying that it’s one of the most popular and most hardcore pre-workouts available out there.

Dark energy pre workout review

That’s because it comes pre-loaded with DMHA and DMAA, which are ingredients that we’d usually have to purchase separately.

While a lot of people seem to love Dark Energy, there’s also a group of people who say the exact opposite about this pre-workout.

It’s polarizing to be sure, but after looking into the issue, I realize that the main problem is with the ingredients, which might be a problem with those with pre-existing sensitivities.

I’m going to provide a complete breakdown of the ingredients, how they work and why they’ve been included in this pre-workout.

Is Dark Energy a Good Pre Workout?

One of the first things I can tell you about Dark Energy is that although it does boost your mood and energy, it’s not like anything I’ve ever experienced with a pre-workout before.

I was quite surprised at this considering that this supplement contains both DMHA and DMAA, and quite frankly, I was expecting more from it.

However, I imagine that the GABA didn’t want to overdo it by including a lot of stimulant ingredients, so they decided to stick with a simple group of ingredients that boost energy without making you feel like a superhero.

Dark Energy Safe

Nonetheless, while Dark Energy Pre-Workout does ramp up energy levels, it’s not exactly the most energy-boosting pre-workout on the market.

In a nutshell, there are better, more effective options such as Wrecked, which, as you know, is my absolute favorite.

I haven’t seen any other pre-workout so far that has allowed me to perform like a beast as much as Wrecked does, and this is because it contains a balanced cocktail of safe yet effective ingredients such as I’ve never seen before.

Is Dark Energy Pre Workout Safe?

To understand if Dark Energy is safe for you, it’s essential to know what type of ingredients it contains.

It contains DMAA, which is a very potent synthetic amphetamine that helps to ramp up energy more explosive workouts, but it has a few disadvantages.

The caveat with using this is that it can cause heart attacks, chest pains, difficulty breathing, nervousness, and even shaking.

How does it work? It shrinks blood vessels, making it harder for the heart to do its job, thus increasing blood pressure levels. At this point, other, more deadly side effects can happen.

It’s quite surprising to note that DMAA is often combined with stimulants like caffeine extracts, which further amplifies its effects.

When taken together, DMAA and stimulants cause more harm than good, and a lot of its adverse effects are as yet unknown, which makes it an even more dangerous combination.

You will find that they’ve even stacked DMAA and DMHA together, which can be very dangerous.

We do not recommend the Dark Energy Pre Workout.

Try out Wrecked instead, it’s a stacked PWO that is much more potent and safe to take.

Dark Energy Pre Workout Alternative

We’ve tested Wrecked extensively and quickly concluded that it is far more potent and effective than other products out there.

It’s got nearly 20 ingredients in it, which will help you get in a fantastic workout by enhancing pump, focus, and strength. SupplementsReviewer.com highly recommends checking it out.

Dark Energy Pre Workout Ingredients

If you read the Dark Energy pre-workout label, you’ll see the following ingredients:

As someone who’s been in the fitness industry for a long time, I know that a lot of people know all about stims.

According to the label, each dose of this pre-workout contains 60mg of DMAA, which is a LOT, to say the least.

Keep in mind that DMAA is on the FDA’s banned stimulants list, so it’s hard to find it on most other pre-workout supplements.

I should note that I’ve tried pure DMAA that I acquired from a shop before, and it gave an insane surge of energy.

GABA is a neurotransmitter like amino acid that works by attaching itself to the GABA receptors in your brain, effectively repressing your central nervous system.

This means that it calms the mood and makes you way more chilled out. But, as with anything, different people react differently to the oral consumption of the GABA ingredient.

This pre-workout supplement contains 6 grams of citrulline malate per serving. With all things considered, this is a proper and moderate dosage to help you enhance workout intensity.

DMHA acts similarly to DMAA, with the main difference being that you need to take it in more significant dosages.

That’s why it’s such a popular pre-workout ingredient with many companies. But, from the looks of things, it’s starting to look like the FDA might also limit or even eliminate its use as an ingredient in supplement products as the organization has sent warning letters to companies that have these ingredients in their products.

Clearly, Dark Energy makers didn’t get the memo because they not only include DMHA in their product but DMAA as well. This is probably why the supplement has become so popular in such a short amount of time.

Caffeine is a popular stimulant known for it’s performance enhancing abilities.

Therefore, you will find it in many pre workout supplements. You can find it in products like Preseries Bulk and Total War as well.

DMAE is a type of choline molecule which is typically utilized to heal old-age-onset cognitive decline.

However, it has been shown to improve overall wellbeing and focus, which is why it’s often incorporated in pre-workout supplements.

There’s no real understanding of dosing guidance as about the enhancement of performance, but I do know that 750mg is a massive dose considering that this is a pre-workout.

Beta-Alanine is known for its ability to induce “tingle-like” sensations in the body and there’s a standard dose of it in this pre-workout.

Conclusion

Dark Energy Pre-Workout is undoubtedly a decent pre-workout supplement with several benefits.

From my experience, I can safely say that it boosts energy and improves your endurance when working out. But, it doesn’t do much to maximize results or increase muscle mass and strength.

If I were to compare Dark Energy with Wrecked, I would definitely recommend the latter because it offers a lot of potent and effective ingredients.

It doesn’t contain any illegal ingredients such as what you’d find in Dark Energy, so you don’t have to worry about potentially failing a drug test.

If you really want to go hard at the gym and amp up your workouts, then you should try out Wrecked. We found it to be even better than AMPED AF.

The combination of ingredients it contains is correctly synchronized to boost mood, increase energy levels, ramp up endurance, and help you maximize results in the form of improved muscle mass.
